Grand Squirrel Master is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Ontario, Canada. He is a music streamer on Twitch and he operates a home recording studio where he collaborates with artists from around the world . GSM’s musical influences include rock, jazz, blues, and soul.

All of the original music I create is written, arranged, performed, recorded, and produced by me in my home recording studio except where noted. I often work with other artists on collaborations from across the world where we work together My music spans many genres as an artist and as a producer.

I have some exclusive content on a cooperative-owned music marketplace called Subvert where artists and labels sell digital music directly to listeners. Listeners buy and own what they pay for. The platform itself is owned by the people who use it.

Picture of the Sky is a fun vocal harmony and guitar looping track that was inspired by travel and meeting new people.

New Dreams is a duet featuring the amazing vocals of Kris Patt, a Filipina singer and performer who lives in Malaysia. The song talks about love in a changing world where at times, can be preoccupied with clout.

I released my debut album Apostasy in 2021. It’s 10 tracks with a mix of jazz, rock, soul, blues, and funk and it includes about 50/50 vocal and instrumental songs. Featured on the song Iqlusion are the incredible array of wind instruments from Sean Irvine. Featured on the song Forbidden are Andrea de Boer on violin, Erika Nielsen on cello, and Erin Moffat on clarinet and flute. The singles from the album were Words Can Make You and Sorrow Be My Friend.
